Need a different pickup spot?
The pickup locations available when you book have space for our shuttle, but if another downtown Banff hotel or meeting point works better for you, just let us know. We can arrange another pickup location and adjust your pickup time accordingly.
Hotel pickups begin 15 minutes before the final Banff Train Station pickup. We’ll send your exact pickup time the evening before your trip.
Travelling with a wheelchair?
Our bus has two wheelchair spaces and a Braun wheelchair lift with a 1,000-pound capacity. Passengers can remain in their wheelchair while travelling, with a four-point securement system and safety belt.
When booking, select the wheelchair ticket option so we know you’ll require one of the wheelchair spaces.

Post-booking
What happens after you book?
Once you book, you’ll receive a confirmation email right away with your shuttle date and time, pickup location and time, pricing information, booking reference, Rainbow Rockies contact information and a scannable ticket.
We’ll send your final pickup details the evening before your trip.
On the day, keep an eye out for the Rainbow Rockies bus. It’s pretty hard to miss, and you’ll see plenty of photos of it around our website. If you have trouble finding us or your pickup location, the contact number you need will be right on your ticket.
If you’re late and miss your shuttle, we’ll happily try to get you onto another departure, but that will depend on availability.
Why we exist
Plans change. We get it.
We want to keep things as flexible and human as possible.
- 14+ days before your trip: You’ll receive a full refund.
- 7 -14 days before: You’ll receive a 50% refund or a full credit toward a future Rainbow Rockies experience.
- Less than 7 days before: Refunds aren’t available, but we’ll happily try to reschedule you if we can.
- No-shows: Refunds and credits aren’t available.
- If we need to cancel: You can choose a full refund or reschedule at no extra cost.
Need to change your date, time or group size? Let us know at least 48 hours in advance and we’ll do our best to make it work.

You’ll receive your booking confirmation right away, your final pickup details before your trip and Rainbow Rockies contact information on your ticket if you need us along the way.
Rainbow Rockies drivers receive diversity, equity and inclusion training, and are trained to help de-escalate unwanted contact between riders.
